Being a Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies. Ensures that treatment that is provided aligns with patient needs and is within the guidelines set by the payer. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at Beyond Words Speech and Language Services LLC in Caldwell, ID. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting speech therapy sessions, evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as dysphagia.
