POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Special Events Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Brand & Community Engagement, is responsible for supporting Goodwill of Delaware & Delaware County’s marketing and community programs. In addition, the Manager will cultivate fundraising initiatives in concert with the Vice President.
The Manager will implement the organization’s fundraising strategies which will include annual fundraising events, a multi-million-dollar capital campaign, and ongoing donor relations campaigns. Also core to the responsibilities of this role are implementation of digital marketing and communications campaigns to support Goodwill’s program areas (donated goods/retail, workforce development, contract services, sustainability and community engagement). In this role, a customer-centric mindset is essential.
