Software Quality Assurance Manager manages a software quality assurance team. To be a Software Quality Assurance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. As a Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management of DMP’s Software Quality Assurance staff and operations including Compliance, Product/Software testing, and Escalated Customer Issues. You will ensure that DMP Quality Assurance and Testing project obligations are satisfied. This is a role which requires an individual to serve as a QA/Testing leader and manage staff on multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience and success leading a team of Software Quality Assurance Technicians.
- Has a reputation for getting results. Has a sense of urgency.
- Successfully completed a DMP Leadership training program.
- High level knowledge of the security industry, DMP products and integrations.
- Full understanding of Software Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
- Ability to set goals and achieve date commitments.
- Works closely with Product/Project Management and Engineering teams to achieve project release deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Accomplishes department goals by planning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Manages DMP Software QA testing activities and schedules.
- Manages the ECI Process and ensures all ECI’s are resolved within the one week one month timeline.
- Works with Engineering and QA teams to develop solutions for reducing critical bugs released.
- Provides timely communication to Director of Technical Services and other leadership as required.
- Communicates with the SQA team to meet the goals of the organization – big picture versus daily tasks.
- Provides test timelines to Product/Project Management and ensures those timelines are met.
