This position oversees the clinical unit of Med/Surg. The Director is a qualified professional with appropriate clinical training and leadership experience. The Director is responsible for clinical direction, quality outcomes and financial health of the Med Surg. Director roles are house-wide, functional, multidisciplinary and service oriented. The director follows the established leadership principles at the Medical Center. Accepts leadership as a sacred trust. Exhibits pride of ownership, is customer focused, strategically oriented, demonstrates teamwork and delegates appropriately.

Minimum Requirements: BSN required or eligible license in the state of Montana as an RN is required. Five (5) years experience a clinical leader. Demonstrated success with tabulating, collaborative work with physicians, project management and process improvement projects. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills.
Preferred / Desired: Master’s degrees in nursing, Business or Leadership/Management preferred. Experience as a unit level director preferred.
