Sleep Center Manager manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of one or more sleep centers. Responsibilities may include staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, and marketing for the center(s). Being a Sleep Center Manager ensures patient care meets high-quality standards. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the sleep center(s). Additionally, Sleep Center Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires registration as a Polysomnographic Technician. Typically reports to a director. The Sleep Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Sleep Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     GENERAL SUMMARY:

    The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the branches in Oregon and Washington. Responsible for achieving the operational goals set by the organization. Establish and maintain positive community relations. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage branch operations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ACHC and state and federal regulations. Implement corrective actions to correct deficiencies identified by analyzing internal date and/or by President or Corporate Administrative staff.
    • Manage all employees assigned to the branch and responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the branch.
    • Ensure that the branch Open Orders report are maintained within company parameters (includes satellite branch, as assigned).
    • Work with Marketing/Sales Representative on issues with key referral sources and maintain positive working relationships with key accounts.
    • Provide for continuing education and training for branch personnel by conducting weekly in-services covering but not limited to policies/procedures, third party payer source contract guidelines, products, CU system procedures and other relevant topics as necessary or desirable to improve services.
    • Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
    • Monitor branch inventory is used appropriately and within company policy and coordinate inventory concerns with inventory coordinator.
    • Represent the organization with all referral sources; physicians, and the community on an as-needed basis in conjunction with Marketing/Sales Representative.
    • Monitor and respond to customer and/or referral source complaints according to company policies and procedures.
    • Determines supply needs for department functioning.
    • Manage various personnel functions including, but not limited to, hiring, discipline, new hire orientation, performance evaluations, promotions, vacation schedules, development of staff and recommendation for employee termination according to company policies and procedures.
    • Facilitates and/or coordinates in service and continuing education for department personnel.
    • Fulfill duties and responsibilities of other location personnel during their scheduled and unscheduled time off.
    • Coordinate with Operations Manager regarding clinical staff’s performance or respiratory patient care issues.
    • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
    • Member of ethics committee
    • Assists with QA/PI
    • In case of operations manager being absent, in charge in lieu

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in HME or related health care industry
    • 3-5 years management experience required. Management in health care field a plus
    • Valid drivers license

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective decision making and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to effectively supervise, counsel, and motivate employees
    • Organizational skills is a must
    • Ability to plan and prioritize personal and branch daily work schedule
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with corporate information
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite with such programs as Word, Excel, as well as have experience with Internet searches
    • Ability to maintain a professional, service attitude at all times
    • Medicare/Medicaid or other medical insurance billing a plus
