Job Summary
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of shipping/receiving employees. Provide clear cut direction and support daily.
Job Responsibilities
· Supervise shipping/receiving employees.
· Verify the accuracy of product being shipped.
· Monitor and eliminate missed/incorrect shipment.
· Audit product coming into facility and leaving facility
· Actively work to improve productivity, decrease quality costs in the department
· Assure conformance with company quality standards.
· Evaluate current systems and procedures to continuously improve, i.e. work simplification.
· Promote company policies, philosophy and team effort.
· Work with and through employees to set and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements
Education and Experience
· 3 years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· 3-5 years’ experience in shipping and/or receiving preferred.

· Production and processing knowledge

· Written and verbal communication skills
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with some overtime varying.
· First shift core hours are: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm M-F.
· Second shift hours are: 4:30 pm to 3:00 am M- Th.
· Weekend shift hours are: 76:00 am to 7:30 pm F-S-S
Physical Demands
This position will require an employee to be able to be in motion on a hard surface. Will also be in office setting working with computers and attending meetings.
