JOB TITLE: Shipper/Receiver
DEPARTMENT: Grantham, NH Warehouse
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
DESCRIPTION
Performs the shipping and receiving needs of the entire facility. Compares identifying information of incoming procured materials against packing slips and quality documentation. Compares identifying information of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains files and records of shipping documents for domestic and international transactions.
Prepares documentation for shipment of materials, parts, finished goods and related items.
May check items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination and routing are correct.
Will drive the company truck on an as needed basis to the Grantham Warehouse, Royalton facility, Bethel Facility, Tool Shop, or other local suppliers, to make deliveries and pick-ups.
Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the Warehouse.
Prepare documentation and complete all paperwork for shipments.
Receive and maintain incoming material inventories.
Perform cycle counts and mid / end of year inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be able to pass DOT physical.
Must drive a Fork Lift.
Previous work experience preferred.
Excellent recordkeeping and organizational skills.
Good safety record.
Attention to detail a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.
Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends when needed.
All other tasks assigned.
Ability to provide support in offsite warehouses.
