Security Guard - Bedford Mass.- Educational Facility

Monday through Friday

1400-2200 (2:00pm-10:00pm)

$21.00 Per Hour

Position Summary:

The Security Guard Shift Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the security force during their shift. They will answer directly to the account manager working on schedules and discipline. Evaluate, assess, and analyze performance of security personnel. Maintain all security devices and products in good working condition. Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts, and other risks. Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Supervises onsite security guard team to ensure adherence to company procedures, protocol and best practices are being adhered to
• Performs regular onsite security checks to ensure that security guards on post assignment are performing the required tasks and functions, providing assistance when needed
• Responds swiftly to breach alerts reported by security guard staff on duty per applicable methods
• Oversees the company scheduling platform to confirm "clock-ins/clock-outs" are being completed for each scheduled shift per company protocol
• Responds to escalated situation alerts from security guard team with professionalism and expediency according to company protocol
• Mentors and supports security guard team in their efforts to meet contractual obligations and exceed client expectations
• Follows procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Adheres to all Company service and operating standards
• Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of security guard experience
• 1 Year Security Supervisor Experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Exceptional work ethic
