Security Guard - Armed jobs in Oklahoma
Security Guard - Armed provides security and guards buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other venues. Monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Being a Security Guard - Armed patrols an assigned location. Follows required gate-keeping procedures such as verifying visitor credentials, conducting inspections, or preparing paperwork. Additionally, Security Guard - Armed may operate an access control or identity system to control building access. Completes shift activity logs and inputs to systems. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically requires Firearms Certification. May require a Security Guard License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Security Guard - Armed works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Starting pay is $15.41 per hour with built in raises. Opportunity for extra hours as they come up. Must have a Armed CLEET security guard license. If you have a unarmed CLEET guard license, we can talk, if you are willing to get the armed license. Benefits include paid holidays, paid vacation (after probation period), and excellent Blue Cross Blue Shield major medical plans, premiums partially paid by the company for employees who elect insurance. There are also Dental and vision plans, and the full suite of AFLAC plans. All uniforms/equipment is issued by the company including weapon if needed.
