About the job
The Field Sales Trainer (FST) position offers Senior Territory Managers or higher the opportunity to instruct, assist, and assess the development of the New Hire alongside the Director of Sales Training and the assignment specific Regional Sales Manager.
FSTs will operate out of their own market, or at their assignment’s market, and will not cross regions. The deadline for applying is Friday, June 14th.
They will be required to follow the FST Program which outlines their expected learning goals for each of the 15 days they are on assignment.
FSTs will also utilize written assessments which will be discussed with the applicable RSM and Director of Sales Training.
While on assignment, the FST will report directly to the Director of Sales Training regarding FST duties. Auditing of FST duties will be performed by the Director of Sales Training, reporting RSM, and New Hire.
The Field Sales Trainer position will be in addition to the current Territory Manager role and will not replace their current duties as such.
They will continue to report to their current RSM for sales duties and will be expected to continue managing their book of business and forecast expectations while on assignment.
Field Sales Trainer is an assignment based position. You will not be guaranteed an assignment for each training class, as New Hire Assignments will be determined based on the needs of a specific market / region.
If no assignment is available, we will advise you and keep your application on file when an assignment becomes available.
Once you have been a Field Sales Trainer in the past and proven successful, you will not need to interview again however you will need to complete an application to show interest in the applicable availability.
