Sales Manager manages the sales teams and supporting operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives. Implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations. Being a Sales Manager conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance. Monitors the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base. Additionally, Sales Manager uses customer feedback and insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products. Builds and develops effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and training. Participates in meetings, presentations, and demos to support or close strategic or high-value sales. PURPOSE AND KEY RESULTS OF THE POSITION
Under the direction of the VP of Sales and Marketing, the Sales Manager is responsible for being a product expert, promoting and selling Tuff Boy products and services within their assigned territory. They will spend approximately half of their time in the field with customers and potential customers, and approximately half of their time at the primary sales office. As a result of his/her efforts, Tuff Boy will grow its lease and sales revenues with new and current clients, and establish the brand as a successful product line within the industry.
