At present, we are seeking an entry level Deposit Operations Specialist to join our Team located within our corporate office in Salem, NH.

As a Deposit Operations Specialist you will be responsible for providing a wide range of duties including, but not limited to:

• Record transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transactions.
• Assist with ACH transaction monitoring and understanding ACH file detail/procedures
• Assist with ATM/Debit Card ordering/maintenance.
• Prepare journal entries and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Perform multiple deposit operation functions.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Execute monthly operations close procedures and reconciliations.
• Cross-train in all areas of Deposit Operations.
• Keep necessary records of certain transactions
• Attain and demonstrate knowledge of deposit operations functions.
• Assist with various audits.
• Understand and operate bank computer systems including Microsoft Office (e.g. excel)

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or higher
• Equivalent work experience may be considered as alternative to formal degree program completion;
• Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
