RFP Manager oversees the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients. Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal. Being an RFP Manager collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities. Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to create high-quality and accurate responses. Additionally, RFP Manager establishes a tracking system with win-loss information. Reviews and analyzes RFP losses to recommend enhancements to products or processes. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The RFP Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an RFP Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job purpose
The business development analyst will be working to identify and win new business for the company. This includes researching RFPs and other bids that the company can submit. In addition, it will include drafting the documents necessary to submit for the bid. Finally, the individual will be responsible for market research and identifying new software and data business opportunities.

1. Researching potential RFP bids.
2. Writing and submitting responses to RFP bids.
3. Market research into existing and future product offerings.
4. Identifying new business opportunities.
5. Any other duties as assigned.
