LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated Reimbursement Analyst to join our team in Maui, Hawaii. The Reimbursement Analyst will be responsible for preparing the monthly contractual allowances for all payors and conducting analyses for month-end close meetings. This role will also assist in the annual contractual budget and forecasting processes, and work with auditors to validate information reported on financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly contractual allowances for all payors.
- Conduct analyses for month-end close meetings.
- Assist in the annual contractual budget and forecasting process.
- Maintain and validate information with auditors as reported on financial statements.
- Review over and under payments based on expected reimbursement versus amounts allowed by payors.
- Perform interim-month reviews of patient accounts and evaluate impact on month-end AR valuation.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle staff to acquire data regarding payment, denials, and other related data as it relates to AR valuation.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience related to Charge Description Master (CDM) or Revenue Cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Experience in the use of CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Codes.
- Epic Certification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, listening, and resolution skills.
- Ability to compose reports and recommendations.
