Please be aware this job requires physical labor all throughout the day including things such as moving furniture, sorting through donations, moving & lifting items and so on. This is NOT a sit down position!
Position Overview:
Under the direct supervision of store management, is responsible for customer service, facility security and maintenance, greeting and assisting donors, breakdown of donations and the maintenance of accurate donor records
Job Duties:
Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; assist to unload donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts, maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
Breaks-down donations into categories.
Maintains work area and keeps it in a clean and organized manner.
Transports trash to proper locations as needed.
Adheres to all personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Manager on Duty.
Qualifications:
Able to lift up to 40 pounds
Possess good eye sight
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to quickly assess goods
