Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Job Function: Provides safe, supportive and predictable environment in dormitory supervision of Job Corps trainees in their daily activities, monitoring their progress in attaining performance contract goals and objectives and utilizing behavior management and intentional and consistent Core-Value-driven practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducts dormitory operations in accordance with center operating policy and procedures in accordance with ODLE operation procedures.
• Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification and acting as a mentor.
• Provides daily supervision or assistance in monitoring students in personal hygiene, room/chore assignments, and other activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Two years’ experience in a related field such as counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance. Prefer Associate’s degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.
Must be able to work 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. or 11:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. with two consecutive days off.
$1,500 sign on bonus available. If an candidate is selected for a position in which the sign-on bonus applies, 50% of the Sign-On Bonus will be paid on the new employee’s first paycheck and the remaining 50% will be paid after successful completion of the employee’s introductory period (on the paycheck following 6 months of employment). An employee who leaves the company in less than a year, will repay the prorated amount of the sign-on bonus received, based on his/her time on the job.
