Residential Care Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of clinical care at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Ensures that clinical programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations. Being a Residential Care Medical Director provides patient consultations as needed and manages relationships between staff and attending physicians. Advises non-medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Additionally, Residential Care Medical Director requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a state license to practice medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Residential Care Medical Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Residential Care Medical Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. JOB SUMMARY:?
This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the?resident’s physical and emotional well-being for those?residents living at?The Lodges Company.?This position assists?residents with tasks of daily living as indicated on the Service Agreement, the Medication Administration Record (MAR), and other services as delegated by the RN. This position is responsible for medication passes and assisting with and leading projects outside of the normal scope as assigned by the Operations Manager and Director or Nursing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in working with older adults
Must be able to lift?20lbs, stand,?sit, or?walk for long?periods
Must be able to pass a criminal and/or abuse background check,?and drug screening
Must live out the Lodges’ values maintain a values score of 4
Preferred:
High School education and CNA/ NAR or HHA Certificate
TMA Certificate
1 years' experience passing medications
5 years' experience as a caregiver working with older adults
Experience using mechanical lifts
ServSafe Food Handler certification
Experience working with mental health
