JOB DESCRIPTION
Hoosier Cancer Research Network (HCRN) is a nonprofit organization that advances clinical research by collaborating with academic institutions, community hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and cancer-focused nonprofits to bring new treatments to patients. HCRN performs investigator-initiated clinical trials (IITs) for universities and academic medical centers. The pharmaceutical industry, research foundations and federal agencies fund these IITs.
HCRN is seeking a Protocol and Correlative Development Manager with a focus on protocol and correlative development. This person will work with its Research Development Officer (RDO) to assess oncology clinical trial concepts for operational and financial risks, and work with trial sponsors and funders to effectively manage these trials through their review, negotiation, and execution. This Manager will be a key resource for and work closely with the RDO to analyze new trial concepts and determine the oncology care requirements, correlative testing, and related costs of each trial. This role requires oncology clinical trial knowledge and/or experience. Individuals with experience as a clinical trial study coordinator, CRO project manager, correlative management or oncology research nurse are preferred.
