Reinsurance Specialist jobs in Delaware

Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • As the Senior Financial Analyst for CVRM, you will support therapeutic area Sales, Marketing and Medical teams by providing financial guidance and insights. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with individuals at all levels of the in the US CVRM TA and contribute to the delivery of financial targets.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Provide financial analysis and expense management, support the month-end close process, provide monthly reports on directly managed TA expenses
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations to senior management, support preparation, coordination, review and submission of financial forecasts
    • Ensure a high degree of financial budget ownership across the commercial teams and be responsible for the development of the financial planning calendar for US CVRM

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
    • 3 years of financial experience required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Finance or Accounting experience
    • Experience working in a global organization, preferably within the pharmaceuticals industry
    • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with senior leaders
    • Good understanding of functional cost drivers
