Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care jobs in Idaho
Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care supervises the delivery of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech/language pathology programs to patients in a homecare setting. Responsible for providing consultation and monitoring of the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care provides clinical consultation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. What would you be doing?
You would be providing general home care assistance and companionship to one wonderful client.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Companionship
- Meal Preparation
- Housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- General assistance around their home
- Running errands
- Engaging in activates like games, memory books, and light exercise
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing & grooming)
What do you need to apply?
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, reliable and provide excellent care
- High school graduate or G.E.D
- At least 6 months of paid experience, or 1 year of unpaid experience caring for others
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- Possess a valid driver's license, and have use of an insured automobile
- At least 18 years of age
