Regional Retail Store Construction Manager jobs in Colorado
Regional Retail Store Construction Manager oversees and directs retail store construction projects within a specified region. Visits construction sites, inspects the work of contractors, resolves issues, and orders store fixtures and/or furnishings. Being a Regional Retail Store Construction Manager coordinates and supervises construction workers and subcontractors and maintains quality control procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Retail Store Construction Manager typically reports to Retail Store Construction Director. The Regional Retail Store Construction Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Regional Retail Store Construction Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Here's how a(n) Regional HSE Manager for our US Head Office office contributes to our team:Responsibilities

Reviews HSE programs to verify that they are compliant as per corporate and local government requirements.
- Verifies districts are compliant with corporate, district, and local government training requirements and liaises with third-party providers.
- Reviews corporate training objectives and disseminates corporate trend action plans.
- Advises in the development of the corporate HSE communication strategy.
- Advises in the development and communication of the corporate strategic safety plan in conjunction with the corporate vice president and/or director.
- Verifies that hazard identification tools are in place in the region and evaluates areas for process improvement.
- Oversees and conducts formal HSE inspections and audits.
- Evaluates district HSE processes and verifies that they are in compliance.
- Oversees the quality and effectiveness of HSE inspections.
- Provides guidance and coaching to districts on audit elements.
- Verifies that PPE meets district needs, as well as corporate and local government requirements.
- Provides guidance to ensure emergency response plan current and effectively implemented.
- Provides guidance to ensure crisis communication plan is current and effectively implemented.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or a related discipline.
- Industry experience may be substituted for education as assessed by management.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
- 15 years of experience in related industry, with direct experience in HSE.
- 6 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, execution, and terminology.
- Strong ability to coach and mentor others, including senior management.
- Ability to work within an executive environment.
- Expert knowledge of all OH&S and environmental legislation related to the region and specific industries.
- Able to problem-solve within OH&S legislation.
- Knowledge of contract, employment, and civil law and how they interact with OH&S law.
- Ability to evaluate and verify that content within the HSE processes are compliant in relation to corporate and district requirements
