Melbourne Regional Chamber

Founded in 1925, the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Florida’s Space Coast has been the area’s driving force in creating an environment for business to thrive for nearly 100 years. We’ve grown from a small-town organization into a regional powerhouse dedicated to developing and promoting the business of our partners and our community at large. Over the course of the last century, our Chamber has been instrumental in the attraction of top employers and industries to the Melbourne Region as well as the formation of many other impactful organizations across the Space Coast, including the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, LEAD Brevard, the Community Foundation for Brevard, Business Voice of Florida’s Space Coast PAC and Keep Brevard Beautiful. Today, we are the Space Coast’s foremost business organization and its only 5 Star Accredited Chamber, a distinction earned by only one percent of chambers nationwide. Our operating budget is very strong and we recently successfully completed the favorable sale of our historic building and lease of new space in the heart of a local business hub near many of our Chamber’s long-term partners such as the Melbourne Orlando International Airport, Northrop Grumman, L3Harris, Collins Aerospace, Embraer, Leonardo DRS, Florida Tech and GrayRobinson.

Visionary Future Leader

Our Board is searching for a President/CEO who is as distinctive and exceptional as the Space Coast business community we serve. A successful candidate will be motivated to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to protect and expand the goodwill of the Chamber within a competitive marketplace. It is also expected that our next leader will optimize the assets of our organization and the community to develop and communicate a visionary plan for these stakeholders as we move forward. The optimal candidate will have a fiscally conservative approach to budgeting with a keen eye and creative mind to enhance revenue. It is also essential that our next leader be dedicated to the professional development and retention of a world-class staff. A team approach is essential. A bachelor’s or higher postsecondary degree is required. Prior organizational management experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and bonus is performance based.
