Refinery Operator jobs in North Dakota
Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Refinery Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Utilize appropriate safety equipment and ensure that all company policy, procedures, governmental regulations, etc. are adhered to.
- Ensure proper monitoring, inspection, reporting, and performance of minor repairs to maintain pumps, valves, flow meters, telemetry, and other Company-owned equipment.
- Install and monitor water transfer equipment necessary for system operations. Keep down time and operating costs to a minimum.
- Carry out duties in accordance with EES policies and procedures.
