Evaluates and communicates key metrics to develop appropriate recruitment strategies and ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. Additionally, Recruiting Director maintains relationships with schools, advertisement, and recruitment agencies. Oversees the recruitment for senior level and executive positions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Recruiting Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     TH BENDER is hiring a Director of Executive Recruiting.

    If you're an experienced recruiting/talent acquisition professional with experience in C-level executive recruitment and an interest in building your own book of business and helping to grow a company, you could be our Director of Executive Recruiting.

    This role combines search execution and business development responsibilities. The Director of Executive Recruiting will be able to utilize the existing recruiting tools and the respected brand to develop new clients and turn existing clients into key accounts globally.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead / Co-lead the full life cycle of executive recruitment projects (e.g., develop candidate specifications and draw up search strategy, finetune the project with client, supervise recruiters and researchers, personally interview candidates, develop thorough assessments, and present candidates online and in-person).
    • Be involved in writing the offer letter and in negotiating terms.
    • Stay in touch during the on-ramping period of a placement and throughout the duration of the placement guarantee period.
    • Be involved in business development activities and drive business development initiatives.
    • Participate, together with colleagues, in online and in-person meetings and presentations. It is expected that the Director will travel to presentation sites domestically and, frequently, internationally.
    • Continuously support the improvement of the recruitment process by evaluating, enhancing, and elevating the end-to-end recruitment process.
    • Stay current on recruitment technology trends and implement innovative tools and software to streamline and enhance the recruitment process. Ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 10 years of retained recruiting experience in a full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously, preferably a blend of corporate HR and executive search agency experience;
    • Experience managing diverse executive searches in multiple industries and disciplines;
    • Able to listen to clients, analyze their objective and define a winning talent acquisition strategy;
    • Solid understanding of executive compensation systems and strong experience with benefits and how they apply to individual employment agreements;
    • Open to domestic and international travel;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Experience with business research tools and able to support our continued drive to a higher-level of technology-supported, highly automated, and efficient workflow;
    • Strong team spirit – interested and able to recruit, manage, mentor, and lead the talent acquisition associates, fostering a high-performance, high-engagement team culture;
    • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record;
    • German or other foreign language skills on a native or professional level are a great plus.
