Radiology Director directs and coordinates activities of a radiology or diagnostic imaging department in a hospital or other medical facility. Reviews work schedules and assigns duties to workers to maintain patient flow and achieve production goals. Being a Radiology Director oversees staff in operation of imaging equipment, such as x-ray machine, fluoroscope, CT scanner, or MRI equipment. Evaluates accuracy and quality of images and provides technical assistance to staff. Additionally, Radiology Director demonstrates new techniques, equipment, and procedures to staff. Implements and monitors radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develops and implements plans, policies, and procedures regarding operations and staffing and, the purchasing of radiology supplies. May require an advanced degree. The Patient Services Representative (PSR) performs duties in support of general medical office activities to assist and ensure that our patients, referring providers and co-workers create and maintain a warm, friendly, efficient, and effective operation. Some of the PSR's responsibilities include scheduling exams, working with referring physicians and their offices, greeting and assisting patients when they arrive and working with our technologists and radiologists to provide a positive experience for our patients.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week, four nine hour shifts, 8-Noon on Wednesdays) non-exempt position.
ALL INTERESTED CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 9 HOUR SHIFTS MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY SCHEDULED BETWEEN 8 am - 5 pm AND POSSIBLE FUTURE ROTATING SATURDAYS FROM 8am - NOON (one day off during the week).
