Quality Control Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Job Description
Quality Control Associate
1st Shift Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $22- Good organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Professional attitude and attention to details.
- Experience with Inspecting Expert software and Excel.
- Experience using measuring equipment, i.e. calipers, height gages and micrometers, are required.
- Experience using Romer CMM arm or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 is preferred.
- Responsibilities will include inspection of customer parts to prints provided and documenting results.
- Entering inspection results into excel spreadsheets to submit to customer.
- Regular calibration of measuring equipment in the shop and documenting results.
- Entering non-conformances into shop software and documenting any actions taken and outcomes.
- Sorting non-conforming parts when needed.
- Use of a Virtek laser scanning machine to verify parts and templates.
- Regular audits of the shop inspection process.
- Regular first off inspection for production.
