Additionally, Quality Assurance Nurse requires an associate's degree/bachelor's degree and is licensed to practice nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Quality Assurance Support Worker assists in the continued goals of the organization to build a child welfare system that is safe, secure, and stable;
family centered, connected to the community; and which relies on evidence-based practice necessary to support contract services in Kansas.
The Quality Assurance Support Worker monitors, corrects, and updates the data input of Permanency Services to ensure continuous data improvement and compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
The QAW may also provide support and assistance to Case Managers, Therapeutic Case Managers, and Supervisors with services to children and families to ensure smooth workflow and meet contract outcomes.
The QA Worker follows deadlines according to Permanency Manual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Minimum Requirements :
Education :
High school diploma or GED
Licensure / Certification : Valid Driver’s License, current auto insurance
Experience :
Previous experience in children and family services preferred. Requires Intermediate to Advanced computer skills in typing / keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email.
