Provider Programs Manager oversees the provider network administration function of an organization. Collects data, analyzes and reports on claims, utilization, costs and changes. Being a Provider Programs Manager reviews existing and future reimbursement policies, regulations and guidelines. Ensure competitiveness of provider network by the deployment of cost effective programs and systems that deliver results that meet cost control and quality goals of the organization. Additionally, Provider Programs Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Programs Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Provider Programs Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You’ll Do

    Take the helm of our vibrant Programs Department, where you'll lead operations to ensure the fulfillment of essential duties and responsibilities. Your role will be pivotal in crafting, cultivating, and executing engaging programs tailored to the unique needs of our independent and assisted living residents within the Community.

    Responsibilities

    • Designs, develops and implements such activities as games, excursions, musical and cultural programs, and lectures to independent and assisted living residents to develop interpersonal relationships, to socialize effectively, and to foster mental, emotional and social interests .
    • Regulates content of program in accordance with budget and residents' capabilities, needs and interests .
    • Coordinates the department budgeting and purchasing processes, and prepares and submits check requests and requisitions for needed supplies.
    • Oversees the monthly Wellness & Programs Calendar, Touch Town, Action Line, program flyers and announcements.
    • Administers the Pilina Program.
    • Organizes and coordinates special outings.
    • Works with the Chaplain, resident families/representatives to coordinate and facilitate Memorial Services/Vespers Services.
    • Serves as the department liaison to weekly and monthly meetings . Maintains the Programs Committee minutes and Social Accountability entries on SharePoint.
    • Negotiates and maintains relationships with entertainers, speakers, and visitors.
    • Encourages residents to develop leisure activities.
    • Collects and analyzes key department metrics and statistics.
    • Sets up AV equipment as necessary for events, presentations and functions.
    • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm

    Education/Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Computer Skills

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, includes, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to embrace and learn other sof tware applicable to the job.
