Property Manager jobs in North Carolina
Property Manager manages the day-to-day operations for a property or portfolio of properties. Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects. Being a Property Manager develops financial and business plans for profitable property ownership. Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery. Additionally, Property Manager may initiate or assist with the buying and selling properties in the portfolio. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Property Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management and a proven track record of success in managing multiple properties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of our properties
- Ensure that all properties are well-maintained and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Develop and implement property management plans and procedures
- Manage tenant relations, including responding to tenant inquiries and complaints
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure that all properties are in good condition
- Manage property budgets and financials, including rent collection and expense management
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure that all properties are leased in a timely manner and that vacancies are minimized
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to property management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
