Objective: Senior Accountant to assist the controller in the day-to-day accounting and audit activities within the X-Caliber Rural Capital vertical. This is a PT consultant role with the possibility of becoming a permanent PT role within the organization
Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To- Book deposits as they come into bank accounts, reconcile any differences with the team as expenses get paid, make sure deposits are in appropriate entity
- Intercompany bank transfers
- Booking bank activity in Sage as it happens across each entity
- Bank reconciliations
- Making sure transactions have appropriate investors noted
- Create invoices for monthly billing
- Assist with various tasks as entity develops
- Assist with audit/tax requests
- Figure out ways to streamline/automate processes between Sage and Strategy
- CPA License preferred
- Sage experience a plus
- Strategy experience a plus
- Three to five years (3-5) accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in the lending industry a plus
- Diligence and accuracy
- Strong Planning and organization skills
- An initiative-taking analytical person
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work cross-functionally
- Hybrid role to the Irvington NY office
Work week – 25-30 hours per week
