*This position will be located in Paintsville, Mount Vernon, or Corbin depending upon candidate hired.

PAY RATE: $22.12 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience) 

Performs various accounting functions for the Finance Department including month-end duties, analytics, reporting, reconciliations and monitoring accounting procedures.

Performs month-end accounting functions in support of the lead accountant and in compliance with US GAAP, federal, state and IRS policies. This includes journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other critical tasks.

Work with the Finance team to review, maintain and communicate accounting procedures. Help ensure the proper coding of expenditures and categorization of financial data.

Compile and analyze financial data with the intent of identifying key performance variances for management. Assist in the preparation of financial reporting.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

Associates In a Related Field Required

Bachelors In a Related Field Preferred

2 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience

Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required

CAP Driving Certification (or Ability to Obtain) Required
