    Position: Psychologist - Psychology | Newport, Rhode Island

    Unit: Allied

    VMS Notes: HWL Requisition:Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) New England-Allied-0040 YEARLONG commitment. Shorter assignments will not be considered. POP ends 9/30/24 with the option to extend through 9/30/27. ALL DOCUMENTS DUE within 10-14 days from the time of confirmation. Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP) provides screening, the Prime for Life Early Intervention Education Program, Level I (Outpatient) Substance Abuse Treatment, Pre-care and After-care services. Minimum Qualifications: ? Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) ? Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. ? Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. ? Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. ? Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be at the Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England (NMRTCNE), Newport, Rhode Island and associated branch medical clinics within a 40-mile radius of their assigned MTF. Hours of Performance: The performance hours of the MTF are as follows: Newport: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0730-1700 Groton: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0630-1700 Kittery: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0630-1700 Saratoga Springs: MONDAY-FRIDAY 0700-1600 Scheduling: Specific days, hours, and shift length will be scheduled by the designated government representative. The specific schedule for each two (2) week period will be provided one (1) month in advance by the government supervisor or designee. Legal Authorization to Work in the United States: HCWs performing under this contract must be U.S. Citizens as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Citizenship, and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent residents of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
