The Department of Mathematics and Physics at Westminster College invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position at the rank of lecturer or visiting assistant professor beginning August 2024. The position is a one-year non-tenure track position. 

The teaching load is 23-25 credit hours for the year. Successful applicants should be able to teach introductory undergraduate physics courses and labs as well as introductory mathematics courses.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physics. 

Experience: The applicant should also demonstrate an understanding of teaching at a liberal arts institution, a desire to work with undergraduate students, and a willingness to be a member of a collaborative and collegial faculty.
