Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, 9-month Tenure Track Associate or Full Professor position in the College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP)
School of Leadership and Advanced Nursing Practice. This 9-month, tenure track faculty
position requires engaging in quality research projects, proposals and
publications that promote the mission of the College, teaching predominantly
doctoral-level courses with the potential to teach undergraduate and Master’s
level courses (depending on goodness of fit and the College’s needs), mentoring
graduate students and undergraduate Honor’s students, and providing service to
the School, College, University, and professional organizations. The ideal
candidate will have a passion for and ability to lead efforts in building
research infrastructure and growing the CNHP’s research portfolio to maintain
the University’s position as a Carnegie R1 and community engagement classified
institution. This position is supported in part by philanthropic donations as a
part of a concerted effort to advance the research mission of the College.
