Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. - Provide multiple ways for students to make meaning of content.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to individual differences and developmental stages of students.
- Manage a learning-focused classroom community.
- Manage classroom space, time, and resources (including technology when appropriate) effectively for student learning.
- Create and maintain a classroom of respect for all students.
- Engage in professional learning.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues, students, and families/guardians.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University
- Minimum Class “A” Mississippi Teaching Certificate
- Subject required endorsement(s) to be “highly qualified”.
