Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.   • Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Computer Science The School of Computer Science and Engineering in the Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor position to begin in the fall semester of 2024. The ideal candidate will be expected to: Support undergraduate and graduate Computer Science programs by delivering core computer science courses, with particular interest in programming, artificial intelligence, and data science courses.   Contribute to innovative curricular development activities. Participate in school and university-level services, including advising students. Requirements: A minimum of a master's degree in a closely related field is required. A terminal degree and prior higher education level instruction experience will be preferred. ABDs will be considered but must receive the Ph.D. degree by August 15, 2024. We strongly encourage candidates from groups underrepresented in higher education to apply.
