Production Painter jobs in Wisconsin
Production Painter operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Being a Production Painter completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures. Additionally, Production Painter may paint items by hand as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor/manager. May require an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The Production Painter possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Production Painter
Compensation: $20-$26 based on experience (Willing to train the right person)
Employment type:
- * Full Time 6:00am - 4:30pm M-TH *Overtime as scheduled according to production
Job Duties:
- *Paint surfaces of metal parts using painting equipment and utilize specific surface preparation and painting techniques; Wet Paint process. *Apply a variety of coatings to the product *Consistently meet paint thickness requirement. *Prior to painting, clean and prepare part surfaces as specified to be contamination free *Inspect parts prior to paint for needed repair, prepping and cleaning *Mask parts to print notes stating tight tolerances for overspray prevention *Hang or set-up parts prior to painting *Inspect parts after painting for needed repairs, proper thickness and general appearance *Properly maintain paint equipment, i.e., spray guns, booth, filters, etc *Perform other duties as assigned

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $20.00 - $26.00/hour.
