Production Manager jobs in Wisconsin
Production Manager manages operations of production areas to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Follows overall production schedules to manage staffing and establish daily and shift production goals. Being a Production Manager monitors shift production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements. Coordinates maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed. Additionally, Production Manager ensures that staff training processes, equipment, gear, and tool requirements are fulfilled to comply with health and safety regulations. Coaches teams in best practices to provide a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues and problems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager. The Production Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Production Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. · Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

· Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
· Polish parts using stones, abrasives and other material
· Polish in such a way as to maintain consistency across the finish of the part
· Clean assigned parts and maintains a neat work area
· Perform limited maintenance work as assigned by supervisor
· Occasionally, will breakdown or assemble various parts
Requirements
The polisher uses various tools, stones, abrasives to polish various die bodies, feed blocks and other assigned parts. Must pay attention to detail and consistency of polishing.

· Language skills; must be able to effectively communicate, convey and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English Language.
· Interpret; ability to effectively and accurately interpret, convey and express oneself in the exchange ideas in a respectful and professional manner.
· Mathematical skills; ability to perform basic math
· Reasoning ability; ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts
· Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings
· Knowledge of safety practices and hazards related to machine operations
· Ability to operate a variety of hand tools
· Ability to meet production goals and complete tasks
· Knowledge of mechanical tools
· Ability to work overtime when required
