Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff that performs maintenance service and repairs to complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Production Maintenance Supervisor coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Reviews and supports equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting resolutions. Additionally, Production Maintenance Supervisor trains, coaches, and educates workers in best practices and safety procedures. Monitors work orders to ensure accuracy and quality. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Production Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Essential Functions
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment
Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility
Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with Niagara’s defined processes
Maintain industrial control systems
Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
May fill in for production operator as needed
Create and report repairs throughout shift. Complete required work order paperwork, documentpartsand materialusage
Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation.
Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job to ensure equipment andfacility uptime.

oVariable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor
oRotary equipment such as rotary press or filler
oThermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing
oKrones or Sidel, equipment
oHVAC including chillers and/or air compressors
oExperience working with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting
oSkilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick)
oSkilled working with electrical systems including 480VAC & 24VDC power
oAbility to read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams
