Production Assistant jobs in Maine
Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Production Assistant typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Responsibilities
- Help prepare customer orders, including packing and shipping - which each order is fun to prepare!
- Assist lead designer in preparation for Trunk Shows and organize boutique wholesale orders.
- Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.)
- Undertake errands as assigned
Skills
- Must have an eye for detail and love fashion! Proven experience as production assistant or a passion for the industry a plus!
- Knowledge of terminology will be appreciated
- Computer savvy
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving
- A team player with great communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina
- A valid driver’s license
- High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g. production courses) will be an advantage
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
