Title: PCB Design/Drafter
Location: Ideally would be in a Santa Rosa, CA; Roseville, CA.
Duration: 24 months.
Responsibilities
Ability to understand PCA/B design guidelines & standards (Do’s & Don’ts)
Resource would be PCB/PCA review, designing and laying out PCB, make sue there are no shorts/smoked out Will be reviewing data packets .
Making sure the boards are designed/manufactured well Valor is the ideal software they use for PCB design it flags stuff errors in the design.
Also, look after the documentation Somebody who has done PCB quality assurance, Valor, Genesis is a tool that PCB fabricators use to check data.
Experience/Familiarity with or Willingness to learn the following:
PCA/PCB -Design/Layout (3 years experience - simple layouts might be ideal)
Siemens/Mentor Graphics Validation tools: Valor (11.x)
Genesis (PCB fabricators use this to check data)
PCB/A Manufacturing processes and design needs
PCB/A component spacing and copper design rules
Documentation requirements for PCB/A fabrication.
