Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day. 8:00AM - 5:00 PM. Duties include assisting customers with unique printing/copying orders, answering phones, communicating closely with customers and with co-workers. Running High-volume digital printing equipment, processing and handling mailings printed at the shop. Need to be very attention detailed to be successful in this position. Must be able to lift/carry 40 pounds. Action Print is a high-energy, fun environment. The team works together to provide outstanding customer service. Experience with Microsoft office products a plus. Experience with copy machines, emails, and general computer operation preferred. Candidate must pass criminal background check.
