Power Trader jobs in Montana
Power Trader is responsible for the purchase and sale of energy. Monitors energy levels and reports needs or excesses and conducts market analysis to identify fluctuations in cost and availability of power sources. Being a Power Trader requires knowledge of energy trading markets and trading practices. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Power Trader typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Power Trader typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Role
As a solar installer, you will be responsible for assisting the installation team while safely installing roof and ground mounted solar systems.
Duties & Responsibilities- Install rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems including; flashing, racking, module level power electronics (micro inverters/optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxes
- Maintain a clean job site and work truck
- Assist the crew lead and electrician in the completion of the installation
- Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles
- Follow company safety policies
- Work in a fast paced, demanding work environment
- Interact with clients in a respectful manner
- Obtain fall protection certification from Click Safety (1.5 hour course)
- Obtain electrical safety certification from Click Safety (0.4 hour course)
- Perform other related duties, as required
- Starting at $20/hr.
- Eligibility after 60-90 days of employment

- Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a steep sloped roof

- Must maintain a professional attitude
- Must be able to maintain continual improvement
- Must be willing to work outside during all 4 seasons of the year
- Ability to work with power tools and hand tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, required
- High attention to detail, required
- Experience in construction and/or roofing, preferred
- OSHA 10 certification, preferred
- NABCEP certification, preferred
