Power Plant Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for the operations of a power generation plant during an assigned shift. Prepares work plans and worker assignments. Evaluate major plant repair, upgrade, or improvement options, conduct cost benefit analyses. Develop implementation plans, materials, tooling, and procedures for selected solutions. Maintain a positive, productive work environment that promotes productivity and teamwork. Respond to emergency callouts to assist in plant operation and troubleshooting. Available for occasional overtime, especially during plant inspections / overhauls. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science from an accredited university or college. 5 years progressively responsible experience in power plant, marine, industrial industries or equivalent. Desired Characteristics BSEE or BSME with some advanced technical coursework required. PE desirable. Possess or ability to obtain general engineering contractor license. Demonstrated capabilities in: Leadership and management Environmental and safety compliance HR compliance ASME pressure vessel codes Accounting and finance Project management Strong oral and written communication skills.
