Key Roles:
Monitor and review draft national and department policies, white papers, and other appropriate, applicable sources, and analyze and make recommendations to ensure correctness and consistency. Support the initiation, development, and coordination of relevant cyberspace policy, advise all staff elements in the interpretation and application of policy to the Command mission. Participate in various exercises and TTXs to provide guidance on interpretation of policy. Participate as a planning SME on boards, committees, and working groups with cross-CCMD, cross-Service, interagency, foreign partner, and academia partners on matters related to CO policy. Provide training briefings on CO policy to staff, JFHQs and DRUs, other CCMDs, and various other external audiences upon request. Coordinate and make recommendations to Government leadership on policy analysis process changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness as well as on new product and service offerings to enhance policy's positive impact on the command's mission.
