Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Lieutenant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in law enforcement with strong leadership skills to effectively manage and oversee daily operations. Out-of-state lateral transfer or recently retired Police/Sheriff supervisors are encouraged to apply.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of law enforcement personnel
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and departmental policies
- Conduct criminal investigations and maintain accurate records
- Provide training and guidance to staff on law enforcement procedures
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Manage shift schedules and assignments for officers
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain safety and security within the organization

Experience:
- 10 years prior experience as a sworn law enforcement officer with a POST certificate

- 5 year experience as a field supervisor
- Knowledge of immigration law and criminal investigation techniques
- Certification in CPR, first aid, or conflict management is preferred
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
- Military experience or background in animal care is a plus

Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Supervisor level POST certificate or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- In-Person Written exam, oral board and Chief's interview

- Extensive background check

- PT Test waiver for current or recently retired POST certified officers available (Conditions apply)

- Must be working for/or recently retired from a Police/Sheriff agency with POST certification in good standing.

- Must be able to pass Wyoming POST challenge written exam

Pay: $62,291.00 - $80,748.00 per year
