Plant Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for a plant. Administers corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Being a Plant Human Resources Manager may be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Additionally, Plant Human Resources Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Plant Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Must have at least (3) years of human resource generalist experience including employee relations strategy and execution, identify and implement performance improvement processes, reporting, analytics, program administration, recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, provide support in the administration of the workers compensation program and payroll for the plant along with general HR administrative duties assigned divisions and employee groups. This role will also be the primary HRMS system administrator - experience working with software tools such as Oracle, Access and Excel.
This position will lead the HR function for a (200) employee, non-union plant and report to the Corporate HR Director (based out of state).
