Additionally, Pipelines Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Pipelines Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Pipelines Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     We are currently looking for an Analyst II Desktop Support for our Owensboro, KY office.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
    The job purpose is to provide level 2 support for the IT Service Desk and to support the workstation lifecycle management process. In addition to answering questions or resolving technology issues for clients, responsibilities will include troubleshooting of minor computer problems; support concerning the use of mobile devices and resolution of client computer hardware and software needs, printing support, etc. Job role is required to participate in 24x7 On-Call rotation.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Provide level 1 support for Service Desk line during peak call periods
    • Help junior Workstation and Service Desk team members with support.
    • Provide technical support for all PC hardware, software, and peripherals, while assisting in maintaining the stability of LAN/WAN connections and maintaining a consistent high level of quality ensuring all details of requests are met
    • Accurately record and document all details of the issue or service request, including categorization and priority into the IT service desk tool
    • Provide remote access/VPN support
    • Provide "how to" assistance on all internally supported devices, applications and systems
    • Consistently adheres to defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
    • Records and tracks customer incidents, calls and service requests through to completion in a timely manner
    • Acquires and maintains a knowledge for supported products and support policies
    • Proactively research and stay abreast of new technology including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, Office, remote connectivity products, workstation and mobile devices
    • Leverage internal and external resources (knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues
    • Respond to end-user inquiries regarding the status of incident/service request tickets, and perform follow-ups
    • Contribute to the creation/facilitation/maintenance of FAQ documents, knowledge articles and user guides
    • Participate in 24x7 On-Call rotation and adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Qualified candidates must have more than 3 years of corrosion control experience or pipeline operating experience, DOT 195 & DOT 192 knowledge and experience in compliance, as well as a basic understanding of the theory and application of corrosion control methodologies and cathodic protection as it applies to pipelines.
    • Individual must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects.
    • This individual should also have experience with Microsoft programs as well as the ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
    • Physical requirements of the role include the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet in order to transfer tools and equipment, the ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns, and the ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments.
    • Successful candidate will be required to obtain NACE Corrosion Level “Tester” certification or higher as requested within one year.
    PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
    • 10 Years Gas Pipeline experience
    • 10 Years Liquid Pipeline experience
    • Industry Related Electrical Experience
    • Industry Related Instrumentation Experience
    • 10 Years Corrosion Experience
    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    • High School Diploma
    PREFERRED EDUCATION:
    • Associates Degree in Corrosion or Related Field
