Physician Residency Coordinator oversees the administration and scheduling of the physician residency program of a healthcare organization. Coordinates and facilitates the activities of the physician residents and provides the resources necessary to fulfill curriculum requirements. Being a Physician Residency Coordinator ensures physician activities comply with governing bodies such as the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or other applicable regulations. Supports the recruitment and selection process of resident physicians. Additionally, Physician Residency Coordinator administers and maintains a system or database to manage schedules and physician performance metrics. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Physician Residency Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Corewell Health South is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our team of providers at Corewell Health Primary Care, Longmeadow in Southwest Michigan. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in family medicine.
This is a full-time opportunity and is a core faculty position at the base clinic for our family medicine residency program. Position will include primary care appointments and time spent proctoring residents.
Appointments include new patients, physical exams, follow ups, pediatric care, pap and pelvic exams, video visits, same day acutes and procedures. Team includes six providers. Fluency dictation available. Epic EHR.
