Physician - Nephrology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the kidneys. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Nephrology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. 7 West – A 30 bed nephrology unit. We have 22 telemetry beds to monitor patients that do not have a primary cardiac diagnosis. We do pre and post care for the hemodialysis patients and administer peritoneal dialysis to our patients throughout the hospital. We have a large population of general medical-surgical patients.
Hours
7 a.m.-7 p.m., includes every other weekend
